Axfood’s sales January-December 2002
For stores in Sweden owned by the Group, the increase was 4.9% for the month of December, of which same stores accounted for 1.7%. Consolidated net sales (excluding VAT) for the month totalled SEK 2,988 m (2,959), an increase of 1.0% compared with the same period a year ago.
Under the period January-December the increase was 9.6% for stores in Sweden owned by the Group, of which same stores accounted for 3.4%. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 33,115 m (32,428), an increase of 2.1%. Of total sales, the Swedish operations accounted for SEK 27,578 m (26,745) and Spar Finland for SEK 5,537 m (5,683).
Hemköp’s sales fell by 8,9% during the month, of which same stores decreased by 1.0%. Accumulated sales decreased by 3.0%, of which same stores decreased by 1.6%.
Willys grew its sales by 17.4% during the month, of which same stores increased by 3.6%. Accumulated sales increased by 21.0% of which same stores increased by 6.6%.
Willys Hemma grew its sales by 21.2% during the month, of which same stores decreased by 11.0%. Accumulated sales increased by 12.9%, of which same stores decreased by 8.4%.
Spar Finland’s accumulated sales fell by 2.6% and in local currency a decrease by 1.6%. For stores owned by the Group the decrease (in local currency) was 5.4% during the month, of which same stores decreased by 6.4%. For stores owned by the Group the decrease in local currency was 2.2% for the period January-December, of which same stores decreased by 1.6%.
