Axfood´s sales January-November 2001 Consolidated net sales (excluding VAT) for the month of November totalled SEK 2,852 m (2,674), an increase of 6.7% compared with the same period a year ago. For the period January-November 2001, net sales amounted to SEK 29,481 m (27,490), an increase of 7.2%. For comparable stores owned by the Group, the increase was 4.5%. Of total sales, the Swedish operations accounted for SEK 24,287 m (22,817) and Spar Finland for SEK 5,194 m (4,673). Hemköp's sales fell by 0.6%. The decrease for same stores was 1.2%. Axfood Lågpris grew its sales by 48.1%, of which same stores accounted for 10.3 percentage points. Spar Finland reported a sales increase of 11.1%, of which 9.7 percentage points are attributable to currency translation. For comparable stores owned by the Group the increase was 8.8%.
