Net sales* (excluding VAT) for stores in Sweden owned by the Group increased by 6.1% for the month of June, with a 3.2% rise in like-for-like sales. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 2,541 mkr (2,425), an increase of 4.8% compared with the same period a year ago. Sales for the period January-June 2006 rose 6.2%, with a 1.1% rise in like-for-like sales. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 14,198 mkr (13,691), an increase of 3.7%. Hemköp’s sales decreased by 5.4% during the month, with a 2.4% rise in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales decreased by 4.3%, with a 0.3% increase in like-for-like sales. Sales for Hemköp’s stores – both owned and franchises – rose 3.1% during the month and 2.7% during the period January - June. Willys’ sales increased by 12.9% during the month, with a 3.7% rise in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales increased by 12.4%, with a 1.7% rise in like-for-like sales. Willys hemma’s sales decreased by 6.8%, with a 3.3% decresase in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales decreased by 3.5%, with a 3.7% decrease in like-for-like sales.
