Net sales* (excluding VAT) for stores in Sweden owned by the Group, increased by 6.1% for the month of November, of which same-stores increased by 0.7%. Consolidated net sales for November totalled SEK 2,747 m (2,653), an increase by 3.5% compared with the same period a year ago. Under the period January-November 2004 the increase was 6.9% for stores in Sweden owned by the Group, of which same-stores increased by 3.2%. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 30,810 m (30,516), an increase of 1.0%. Of total sales, the Swedish operations accounted for SEK 26.087 m (25.797) and Spar Finland for SEK 4,723 m (4,719).

Hemköp’s sales increased by 2.1% during the month, of which same-stores increased by 1.2%. Accumulated sales decreased by 0.3%, of which same-stores increased by 1.7%. Willys grew its sales by 9.2 % during the month, of which same-stores increased by 0.2%. Accumulated sales increased by 12.0%, of which same-stores increased by 4.3%. Willys hemma decreased its sales by 4.3 % during the month, of which same-stores decreased by 4.0%. Accumulated sales decreased by 1.6%, of which same-stores decreased by 1.9%. Spar Finland’s sales increased by 6.5% or by 6.1% in local currency. Accumulated sales increased by 0.1%, in local currency the sales was unchanged compared with the same period a year ago. For stores owned by the Group the increase in local currency was 8.1%, of which same-stores decreased by 5.6%. For stores owned by the Group accumulated sales in local currency increased by 6.5% of which same-stores decreased by 3.7%.
