Interim Report, Axfood AB (publ.) for the period 1 January–30 June 2006

- Axfood's consolidated sales amounted to SEK 14,198 m (13,691) during the first six months of 2006, an increase of 3.7%. - Retail sales for Axfood's wholly owned stores rose 6.2% during the period. Like-for-like sales rose 1.1%. - Operating profit for the period January–June was SEK 501 m (513). - Profit after financial items for the period was SEK 491 m (505). - Profit after tax for the period was SEK 353 m (357). Earnings per share were SEK 6.57 (6.48).
