New executive management at Axfood

Louise Ring, Head of Human Resources, has been named as a new member of the Executive Committee. Louise Ring has held this post since August 2004. Axfood’s Executive Committee consists of Anders Strålman, President and CEO of Axfood; Urban Dahl, President of Willys; Carl-Erik Möller, President of Hemköp; Thomas Strömer, President of Willys hemma; Anders Agerberg, Acting President of Dagab; Benny Hast, President of Axfood Närlivs; Mats Sjödahl, Head of Purchasing and Private Label Products for Axfood; Lars Nilsson, Executive Vice President and CFO of Axfood and Louise Ring, Head of Human Resources, Axfood. – “This team gives us a competent and operative company management with a wealth of experience and knowledge in their respective areas of responsibility,” says Anders Strålman, President and CEO of Axfood AB. Anders Nyberg, Executive Vice President, Head of Business Development and a member of the Executive Committee, leaves Axfood for a position as Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Trade of ICA. Anders Nyberg, who leaves Axfood with immediate effect, joined Axfood in February 2001 and has served as a member of the Executive Committee since then. In connection with these changes, Bengt Andersson, Head of Retail Trade Development, and Lars-Åke Johansson, Head of Structure and Establishment at Axfood, will report directly to Anders Strålman, President and CEO of Axfood AB.
