aXichem signs distribution agreement with Tecom Ingredients for sales and distribution of aXivite® in Spain

aXichem AB (publ), that develops and markets natural analogue industrial compounds, has signed a marketing, sales and distribution agreement with the Spanish company Tecom Ingredients, a distributor of high quality ingredients such as plant extracts, fruit extracts and speciality ingredients, regarding aXichem’s capsaicin analogue product, aXivite for dietary supplement.

The distribution agreement gives Tecom a three-year-exclusivity to market, sell and distribute aXivite on the Spanish market. Spain is a large processor of extracts and imports large quantities of medicinal and aromatic plants and extracts.
 The Spanish market for food supplements amounted in 2016 to €259 million according to Euromonitor, and holds an interesting growth potential, considering the size of Spain’s population.
