Report this content

As a result of lower sales during the second half of March, the operating profit for the first quarter will be weaker than expected. Axis’ sales may have significant quarterly fluctuations as a result of the company’s indirect sales model.

Axis' sales for the first quarter is expected to be SEK 1,129 M (982), representing a growth of 15 per cent compared to the same period last year. Operating profit for the period is expected to be SEK 72 M (89).

Axis had a continued high rate in recruitment to secure the opportunity to take advantage of future growth in the market. During the period, the number of employees increased by 81 people.

There is a continued steady inflow of new projects and Axis’ view on the current growth rate for network video remains unchanged.

Axis releases its full report for the first quarter of 2014 on April 24 at 08:00 a.m. (CET).
