Axis and NSM Storage partnership addresses new market for CD & DVD networking

Axis Communications has signed a long-term business partnership with NSM Storage, the German based world leader in CD & DVD Jukebox technology. NSM will integrate the Axis Storage server in their solutions for CD & DVD tower technology.

NSM Storage will integrate the AXIS StorPoint CD E100 server into a new server product offering, the DataProvider. The product range of NSM will be complemented by this new product line, which allows NSM to enlarge this growing market. The new product line addresses the market of networking of 30-255 CD/DVD titles in a completely new way by copying the CD/DVD based information to hard disks, which gives higher performance and is a more cost effective solution. "This was the perfect fit. We have carefully selected the AXIS StorPoint CD E100 to be included in our product line due to its reliability and high capacity, but also because of Axis' high reputation in this field", says Wilfried Beckmann, Managing Director of NSM Storage.
