The digital sending package is a solution to significantly lower costs and increase speed and reliability vs. fax and traditional mail or courier. It can scan and send paper documents to email, fileservers and be integrated with document archiving and databases with a built-in XML API. Powered by Axis Network Document Server, the HP Scanjet 7650n meets the growing demand within the small business sector - driven among other things, by heightened security, privacy awareness and the use of email as a communication and organising tool. The beauty of the solution is in its simplicity. Users simply need to place document in the scanner, select an email address from the distribution list on the AXIS 70U Network Document Server, and press "send". The document is digitised and sent as an attachment to the recipient's email inbox in three easy steps. It is essentially a very user-friendly, out-of-the-box solution for digitising and managing paper-based information, all for less than 1000 EURO (MRSP including VAT).
