Axis strengthens Nordic distribution

Axis Communication is expanding its Swedish distribution channels through an agreement with EET Nordic. This is the latest example in Axis' strategic efforts in the build-out of its distribution in Europe. This work has been under way for more than a year and is already starting to show results in the form of higher availability and increased sales. Axis already signed an agreement with EET Nordic for the other Nordic countries at the beginning of the year and has seen an increase in sales in these countries averaging about 50 percent to date. EET Nordic has excellent knowledge of Axis' products. The company has an established position among potential customers and contributes additional support and technical expertise. "At EET Nordic, we are very particular with regard to what company's products we include in our portfolio. We only work with world-class products that we can stand behind. We are thus pleased that we are now able to include Axis' products, which are well-suited to our focus on network products," says Magnus Östlid, product manager at EET Sweden. Over the past year, Axis has signed agreements with a number of new distributors, including Ingram Micro in Sweden and France, Azlan in Spain and Portugal, Adimpo in Spain, Allnet in Germany and MicroP in the UK.
