Axis subject of patent infringement action in the U.S. together with more than 20 other companies

Axis' wholly owned North American subsidiary Axis Communications Inc. has become the subject of a litigation process together with 27 other companies in a U.S. court. The patent infringement claim has been initiated by Compression Labs Inc regarding an alleged infringement of a US patent related to digital image compression. "We're too early in the process to make further comments on this issue. However, discussions around patents are an ongoing subject in our line of business. We will provide further information about this situation if necessary," said Ray Mauritsson, CEO of Axis Communications.
