Axolot Solutions has signed a trial agreement with a customer in the biogas industry
Axolot Solutions Finland Oy has signed an agreement with Ab Stormossen Oy, for trials with Axolot’s patented AxoPur® technology.
The trials will be carried out at the customer’s site in Finland, with the purpose of purifying their wastewater arising from dewatering of the digestate. Ab Stormossen Oy is a company dealing with biowaste and sludge, converting it into compost soil and biogas vehicle fuel. The company is taking part in the EU Interreg project Botnia Näring i Kretslopp.
Sirkku Rönkä, Managing Director of Axolot Solutions in Finland, says: “This trial order marks an important step into a rapidly growing industrial branch, where we hope to be able to showcase a good potential for our AxoPur technology not only for purifying the water, but also enabling recycling of the valuable nutrients being recovered in the AxoPur process as a self-drying floc.”
The trials will be carried out before the end of the year.
