Azzure IT wins at Sheffield Business Awards
Microsoft Dynamics provider, Azzure IT, wins Excellence in Professional Services at the Sheffield Business Awards on Thursday 4th December 2014. The award was presented to Azzure for its business management prowess, supported by strong financial performance and big plans for future growth.
Organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and The Star, the Sheffield Business Awards is the premier showcase for business success in the Sheffield region. The 13thannual awards ceremony took place at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and saw thousands of people gather to celebrate excellence in enterprise and network with a vast amount of leading businesses.
Following tough competition from thousands of entrants, Azzure was shortlisted for the REDBRIK Excellence in Professional Services Award among three others (Quality Context, Footprints Accountancy and Benchmark Recruit). And on Thursday Azzure IT took home the award thanks to its proven track record, coupled with its continued ambition to grow.
Managing Director Craig Such founded Azzure IT in the summer of 2011 with a simple ethos ‘to deliver quality IT solutions to help businesses be better at what they do.’ In less than three years Azzure IT has gone from start-up to successful enterprise. The company has defied the recession, trebled its staff and increased turnover fourfold, all while supporting substantial business growth in the Sheffield City region.
“We’re absolutely chuffed to be awarded the Sheffield Business Award,” says Such. “It’s such a brilliant recognition of how far we’ve come, and our big plans for the future.”
Following 100 per cent growth last year, 2014 saw Azzure reduce deal closure lead times by more than 85 per cent, take on eight new members of staff and keep on track to increase business by 70 per cent this year. And it has no plans on slowing down:
