BBC TV’s ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY COMES TO HEREFORDSHIRE

BBC television programme ‘Escape to the Country’ comes to Herefordshire on Friday, 10th February. Presenter Nicki Chapman and her crew visited Herbfarmacy Organic Skincare’s herb farm at the height of the harvest season last summer to film an artisan business in action.
Nicki Chapman is pictured (image available on request) amidst the Cornflowers and Calendula with botanist, and founder of Herbfarmacy Organic Skincare, Dr Paul Richards; and helped Paul to pick the Calendula flowers. During filming, Paul showed Nicki the making of Herbfarmacy’s hand-crafted Skin Rescue Balm, a luxurious herbal blend made using the soothing properties of Marshmallow, Calendula, Chickweed and Comfrey which nourishes dry complexions and protects sensitive and problem skin conditions. It is very popular with those suffering from eczema.
Paul referred to the Skin Rescue Balm as “a balm for all reasons” and added that as well as excellent sales in the UK it has become very popular in Asia, and especially so within the Hong Kong market.
Escape to the Country is enjoying its 12th series helping house hunters to find their perfect country home.

The Herbfarmacy herb farm is a five acre smallholding in the Welsh Border country of west Herefordshire (Eardisley) where Dr Paul Richards has been growing medicinal herbs organically since 1983.
