Basware and Novartis extend cooperation to global level

BASWARE CORP. STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE APRIL 16, 2008

Basware has agreed to extend the delivery of Basware Enterprise
Purchase to Pay solution to Novartis' offices globally. The product
implementation program is scheduled for two years. The value of the
agreement in 2008 is estimated to be at minimum EUR 1 million.

Novartis Pharma has been using Basware Enterprise Purchase to Pay
product portfolio since 2006 in various European countries. Now the
cooperation has been extended to global level and Basware offers its
solutions to Novartis Pharma business units across the world."We are always pleased to deliver geographical extensions to our

Basware Enterprise Purchase to Pay suite includes solutions for
