Truven Health Analytics Implements Basware’s Alusta B2B Commerce Platform
With Record Implementation Times, Alusta Speeds up Invoicing, Delivers Process Efficiency
STAMFORD, Conn., – Basware, the leading provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, today announced that Truven Health AnalyticsTM, a major provider of analytical services and tools for the healthcare industry, has implemented the Basware Alusta cloud-based platform for business-to-business (B2B) transaction collaboration. Implementation of the platform was accomplished within a record 30-day timeframe, enabling Truven employees to quickly receive and send invoices electronically and conduct open collaborative commerce across their supply chain.
The Basware Alusta platform is the first technology of its kind to enable open collaborative commerce for companies of all sizes. By enabling key invoice processing and procurement functions to become automated, the new platform provides companies with the efficiency, visibility and control they need in their enterprise purchase-to-pay processes to improve their relationships with buyers and sellers.

Truven Health Analytics is using the Alusta platform to automate its invoice processing function. The solution was configured in a standard SaaS environment with integration to Oracle Financials. As part of the process, invoices are scanned by Truven with a capture and exchange solution, and then converted and processed on the Basware Network.
