Women Owned Businesses and Corporations Unlock the Power of Partnership
WBEC South’s Annual Expo April 3-4 in New Orleans
(New Orleans, LA) – The Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South) will host its 14th Annual Women’s Business Opportunity Expo in New Orleans, April 3-4, 2013 at the New Orleans Marriott. This year’s theme is “Partnering for Success.” The two-day event will focus on tools and resources to help women owned businesses of all sizes gain a competitive edge regionally, nationally, and globally.
The two-day event kicks off with an International Session sponsored by Nissan that will focus on how to do business with Fortune 500 companies around the world. There will also be “MatchMaker” sessions: face-to-face meetings between certified WBEs and buyers, a POWER luncheon sponsored by ExxonMobil, a reception, workshops, an awards presentation and a business fair.
The Expo, presented by Chevron & BlueCross BlueShield of Louisiana, is also sponsored by Nissan, Shell, and Entergy among others. WBEC South expects over 60 exhibitors and 450 attendees from 3 countries and 12 states at this year’s expo.
