“The theme of this year’s AIEN International Energy Summit is ‘The Energy Trilemma: Affordability, Sustainability & Reliability’. This was the most obvious and natural theme for this year’s summit and felt like the perfect evolution from the 2022 event in London, which focussed on ‘The Future of Energy: Transition & Security.’

“This year’s event is differentiating itself from previous summits by doing a deep dive into many different topics of the energy transition.  One of the panel sessions I think will be particularly interesting is ‘Power Systems in Transition: Infrastructure Development & Electrification Challenges’. This panel has some excellent speakers from a variety of backgrounds which should prompt a fascinating discussion. The need for new infrastructure to help cope with the new energy markets is very interesting to me and I believe will also be for the audience.

“The other panel I am excited about is ‘Financing the Energy Future’. This session will ask how financial institutions keep up with the rapidly evolving world of energy? This is something that remains hugely important in the oil and gas sector.

“The International Energy Summit is an incredible opportunity to make connections, increase your network and learn different trends in a rapidly changing market. I am very excited about this year’s event – the quality of the speakers, attendees and organizations make this a very special occasion. This year we are in Miami, with a unique focus on the Latin American markets, and I am eager for all the opportunities this location has to offer.”
