Two months to go till AIEN 2023
It is now less than two months before our 7th International Energy Summit which this year will be held in Miami, Florida.
Over the past 12 months we have consolidated what we intended by widening the scope of the organization, moving from a pure focus on the oil & gas industry to meet the wider needs of our membership as they work towards energy transition. The Summit in Miami will tackle the issues surrounding both traditional and new energies, along with the need for energy security.
As always, the IES will have a wide range of speakers and panellists from different regions throughout the world and varied areas of expertise. Members will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss key topics, including: The balance of energy security, economic security, and climate security; Globalization vs. localization; The importance and challenges surrounding critical minerals in the energy transitions; Infrastructure, development and electrification challenges for power systems, and financing the energy transition, among others.

John Bridges, AIEN Executive Director, says, “Oil & gas will continue to be part of the energy mix for years to come, but we need to address the challenges of decarbonization. Our members have been dealing with CO2 for decades and are well placed to develop the solutions and infrastructure we need for the future. The IES provides a forum for them to discuss and exchange knowledge and a platform that will help move the energy transition forward.”
We look forward to seeing you in Miami for what promises to be a memorable and informative event.
