BE Group expands production facilities and increases capacity at Lapua
BE Group Oy Ab, trade and production services specialist in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, is expanding its production facilities and increasing its production capability at Lapua, Finland. The investment in machinery adds up to approximately 2.2 million euros.
BE Group is enhancing its cutting services by investing in new bevel laser and plasma bevel cutting machines and a CNC machining centre. The goal is to achieve the highest level of technical capability, automation and quality.
“Our investment into our metal cutting capacity is a direct answer to increased demand from our customers for our services. In the future we will be able to offer our customers solutions with even better cost efficiency”, says Managing Director Matti Tiira.
The Lapua steel service centre has been a forerunner in customer-oriented production amongst BE Group. The steel service centre’s offering enables a tailored approach, where customers are provided with set deliveries that are ready for welding, brought directly to the customer’s work site and packaged according to their directions.
The Lapua steel service centre’s production services include flame and plasma cutting, laser cutting, bevelling, shot blasting, bending and machining. The new machines will be taken into production use in March.
