BE Group streamlines – moves operations from Poland to Sweden and Finland
BE Group’s Polish operations have mainly been a supplier for Swedish customers. BE Group has now decided to relocate the operations to Sweden and Finland and close the Polish operations. This will generate cost rationalization, increased capacity utilization and reduced CO2 footprint in the Group.
BE Group’s Polish operations were established in 2001 and today has sales and production in Trebaczew. During 2023, the company's external turnover was 1.5% of the Group’s total turnover of SEK 5.3 billion.
The closure will take place in the coming six months and affects approximately 80 employees. The one-off cost is estimated to amount to approximately SEK 30 M and will affect the result for the current year. The closure is deemed to have an ongoing positive effect with a payback period of less than 1 year.
An updated estimation will be presented in connection with the publishing of the fourth quarter report.
