Beijer Alma subsidiary Habia Cable exposed to data intrusion

Beijer Alma's subsidiary Habia Cable has been exposed to a data intrusion on Monday. It is limited to Habia Cable and does not affect Beijer Alma's other subsidiaries.

The data intrusion affects Habia Cable's ERP system, which may result in delivery delays. The company will inform affected customers of the situation and will act in accordance with its Business Continuity Plan with a focus on returning to normal operations as soon as possible.

Through Beijer Alma's cyber insurance, Habia Cable has access to leading IT security expertise to assess the extent of the intrusion and to take necessary actions. The incident will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Habia Cable accounted for approximately 19% of Beijer Alma's net sales and approximately 10% of the operating profit in 2020.
