Staffan Johansson has been appointed as the new CEO of Beijer Tech. Staffan Johansson currently serves as CEO of Lundgrens, Beijer Tech’s largest business, as well as Business Area President for Fluid Technology. He will replace Staffan Andersson, who is moving on to a senior position outside the Group.

Staffan Johansson will assume his new role by December 1 at the latest. He is 43 years old, holds a master’s degree in engineering and has extensive experience from international, industrial operations. Since 2016, he has served as CEO of Beijer Tech’s largest company, Lundgrens, as well as Business Area Manager for Fluid Technology. Prior to that, Staffan Johansson worked at Stena Technoworld, where he held various positions including Managing Director of the company’s German operations.

Beijer Tech specializes in industrial trading and manufacturing. The company’s revenues in 2018 amounted to MSEK 913. Its operations have undergone changes in recent years with the aim of increasing the added value of its products and services through both organic growth and acquisitions. These measures have resulted in tangible earnings improvements.

“Outgoing CEO Staffan Andersson has made valuable contributions to the development of Beijer Tech. We would like to thank him for the time he has spent at the company and wish him continued success in his new role,” says Henrik Perbeck, President and CEO of Beijer Alma.

As Business Area Manager for Fluid Technology, Staffan Johansson has already been heavily involved in the ongoing development of Beijer Tech.

“Staffan is a highly regarded leader who has carried out effective change initiatives in the company’s largest business. He has also contributed to successful acquisitions within Fluid Technology, such as Svebab, Packningar & Plast and Codan. He is therefore the right person to lead Beijer Tech’s continued journey of growth.”

“I look forward to continuing to develop Beijer Tech’s operations together with the company’s employees. And we will do so based on our decentralized business model, which encourages local business acumen and an individual sense of responsibility. This approach has proven successful, both when it comes to managing acquisitions and in the further development of existing operations,” says Staffan Johansson.
