Beijer Ref’s acquisition of Realcold approved by Commerce Commission in New Zealand

Beijer Ref’s acquisition of Realcold, which was announced in a news release 29 July 2015, has been cleared by the Commerce Commission in New Zealand. This means that the conditions for the acquisition have been fulfilled. The acquisition is expected to be finalized before the end of October 2015.

The approval of the acquisition means that the integration of Realcold into Beijer Ref´s existing business, Patton, can be started in both New Zealand and Australia. Realcold will be included in the accounts of Beijer Ref as of the fourth quarter of 2015.
