Report this content

Beijer Ref wins its first order in New Zealand for transcritical carbon dioxide (CO2) cooling through its subsidiary Patton. This is another step in Beijer Ref’s ambition to be leading the transition to environmentally friendly refrigerants.

The CO2 rack will be produced by Beijer Ref’s Italian company SCM Frigo and installed in a supermarket for an important New Zealand retail chain. The unit is one of the most innovative designs being a “plug’n cool” version with the gas cooler integrated into the outdoor frame, which means simple and fast installation on the site.

Beijer Ref focus on carbon dioxide and other natural refrigerants is increasingly contributing to lower GWP (Global Warming Potential) emissions.
