    The Board of Directors proposes a reduced dividend

    Due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19, the Board of Directors of Beijer Ref AB is proposing to modify the dividend for 2019. The Board of Directors of Beijer Ref will propose to the general meeting on April 16 a dividend of SEK 1.75, while also maintaining its ambition of a total dividend of SEK 3.50 in 2020.The Board of Directors and CEO propose a cash dividend to shareholders of SEK 1,75 per share, which deviates from the previously communicated dividend amount of SEK 3,50.     Beijer Ref conducts the Annual General Meeting as planned with special arrangements.

    Beijer Ref’s Annual General Meeting will be held as planned. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding the corona virus, several precautionary measures have been taken to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.The Annual General Meeting starts as planned at 15:00, but the incorporation will only take place from 14:15. Food and drink will not be served, and the traditional meal in connection with the AGM is cancelled. The CEO’s speech will be shortened and will be available on the company’s website after the meeting and shareholders’ questions will be concentrated around decision

    Acquisition strengthens Beijer Ref’s position in Germany

    The Swedish refrigeration group, Beijer Ref, is acquiring the net assets in Grün Großhandel für Kälte- und Klimazubehör, which operates in the German refrigeration wholesale market. Grün was founded in 2009 and has since established a stable operation with sales of approximately SEK 25M. ”Germany continues to be a very interesting growth market in which Beijer Ref is gradually developing an increasingly strong position.
