Northern Europe’s leading fashion fair steps up a gear
Northern Europe’s leading fashion fair, Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) adds a range of new experiences, including a vivid ice universe, new upcoming designers, new restaurants, trend zones, additional shows every day and much more when Copenhagen fashion week brings fashion professionals together.
A vast array of new experiences awaits fashion professionals next week at Northern Europe’s biggest fashion fair, Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) and CIFFKIDS. Vivid ice universe An icy universe is one of the new additions buyers will experience when the children’s fair CIFFKIDS presents autumn and winter fashion for kids under the theme “Life Inside a Snowflake”, featuring vivacious snowflakes and snowballs, an ice skating rink and icicles. CIFFKIDS has emerged as Europe’s biggest fair for children’s fashion. One of the exhibitors who has been there from the start is TICKET TO HEAVEN: “We at TICKET TO HEAVEN have decided to exhibit at Bella Center because we know that this is where we will meet the greatest number of relevant buyers, and because we are convinced that Bella Center is where our customers receive the best service and the best international buying experience. Our international customers often only have one day in Copenhagen, and because CIFFKIDS is the only international fair for children’s clothing, all of our potential and existing customers will visit Bella Center. That’s why we will be there – along with 80 percent of the most important Danish children’s brands,” says Managing Director Hans Peter Høeg Larsen. Room for upcoming designers CIFF also makes room for new, young designers with the “Bridge to Innovation” initiative. One of those participating in the initiative is Lloren Araza: “At CIFF, it is advantageous to join forces with other small companies who together represent an exciting time in a company’s development, when it isn’t just about how much money you have but also how far you can get with creativity and limited resources. Another advantage is the opportunity to meet the many buyers from Denmark and abroad who visit CIFF, which provides the opportunity for sales and networking,” says proprietor Melanie Lloren Araza. “Bridge to Innovation” represents designers from countries including Sweden, Iceland, Denmark. Delights for your taste buds Exhibitors and buyers will also find new taste experiences from well known restaurants such as Sticks ’n’ Sushi, Cofoco and The Bagel Co., who will serve delectable food during the four day fair. “Exhibitors and buyers are invited to what is designed to be a total experience at CIFF, CIFFKIDS, Copenhagen Fashion House and CIFFSHOES, which currently represent a total of 1677 brands. We offer everyone the opportunity to take advantage of an inspiring environment that features four trend shows daily, workshops, fairs within the fair, excellent culinary experiences and much more,” says Sales and Marketing Manager Bolette Hvalsøe Olsen. The initiatives described above are just a sampling of the many new additions to the fashion fair at Bella Center. And fashion professionals can look forward to even more new initiatives at the fashion week in August. Read more about CIFF/CIFFKIDS at www.ciff.dk.
