Bellman Group AB (“Bellman Group”) acquires Losshållningsbolaget i Sverige AB (“Losshållningsbolaget”) with operations in the quarrying and civil enginering sector.

Losshållningsbolaget operates broadly in southern and central Sweden and has its main operations within blasting in quarries and complementary contracting operations. Sales are expected to amount to approximately SEK 30 million for the 2020 financial year and the company currently employ approximately 10 people, who will be supplemented with hired staff if necessary. The business has grown steadily since the start in 2017 and the plan is to expand the business largely aimed at the Gothenburg region.

"The advantage it entails to belong to a larger organization with a stable financial position and with a - as in this case - unique comprehensive offer aimed at the construction and civil engineering sector, we are convinced will benefit Losshållningsbolaget and the expansion we see ahead of us," says Fredrik Persson, one of the co-owners of Losshållningsbolaget.

“Losshållningsbolaget and Uppländska Bergborrning, which is also a subsidiary of Bellman Group, know each other well and have collaborated on a number of projects. The acquisition further strengthens our comprehensive offering to construction companies in southern Sweden and Gothenburg. The Gothenburg area and Västlänken are such projects where we see that our overall offering is particularly sought after by several customers, which is very gratifying,” says Håkan Lind, CEO of Bellman Group.
