Internationally-renowned creative schools in new partnership
Berghs School of Communication and Miami Ad School, two of the world's top-ranked creative schools, are excited to announce their brand new partnership. The schools share a common focus on communication and advertising and boast strong industry relations. Through this partnership, students can now take a two-year portfolio program spanning Sweden and the US, combining an education from two of the best advertising schools in the world.
– Berghs School of Communication and Miami Ad School are a very good brand match. We share a similar approach to creative education. It’s practical, it’s commercial, it’s project based. When we realized that we had modules that complete each other well, we had no choice but to combine them. It’s an act of creativity, and we are excited to see what talents will come out of it, says Marco Ortolani, Director of International Business Berghs School of Communication.
– This is an exciting step forward for both of our schools. Miami Ad School is very happy to start this collaboration with Berghs and we can't wait to work with your talented students, says Henry Mairena, Managing Director Miami Ad School.
The Berghs Bachelor program serves as a gateway to international education for Berghs students, offering them a head-start and building a strong foundation in media, marketing, presentation techniques, and visual communication. After completing the foundation semester in Stockholm, students will transfer to one of three Miami Ad School campuses in Miami, Atlanta, or New York to continue their studies in art direction, copywriting, or digital photography & video, with regular portfolio reviews and an internship to get their careers started.
Through this new partnership, students won't be required to take any language tests, and they're guaranteed to transfer two full quarters of credits into Miami Ad School's portfolio programs, speeding up their overall study journey. Students will have only 6 quarters left to study in the US, approximately 1.5 years, with a practical internship waiting for them in the final quarter of their journey.
The program is not an undergraduate university degree but suits students who have more mature skills and a strong focus on creativity and advertising. Tuition fees do not include other costs such as travel and living costs, hardware, software, literature, etc. The Berghs Bachelor program is offered twice a year, starting in September and February.
