Bergo Flooring Supports Ukrainska Hubben Through RefugeeHope UA&SE
Visby, June 24, 2026 – During Almedalen Week, Bergo Flooring is supporting RefugeeHope UA&SE and its work with Ukrainska Hubben. Through this collaboration, Bergo aims to help create more opportunities for community, activity, and integration for people who have been forced to leave Ukraine due to the war.

Bergo Flooring develops and manufactures modular flooring solutions in Sweden. Through the company’s WISH concept, Bergo works to create better opportunities for physical activity, health, and social inclusion – particularly for children and young people.
“We believe that many existing spaces can quickly be transformed into places where people can be active, meet, and experience a sense of community. For individuals who have been forced to leave their homes, such environments can play an important role in both well-being and integration. That is why it feels natural for us to support RefugeeHope UA&SE and their work,” says Emil Lindén, Bergo Flooring.
Through the collaboration, Bergo Flooring wants to highlight how simple and sustainable solutions can help create safe and functional meeting places where people can gather, stay active, and build new social connections.
During Almedalen Week, Bergo also aims to engage in dialogue with stakeholders within defense, emergency preparedness, and critical societal functions regarding the product Bergo Solid. It is a strong and flexible ground protection solution designed for demanding environments, such as temporary roads, tents, storage areas, and other surfaces exposed to heavy loads.

“The experiences from Ukraine have demonstrated the importance of robust and flexible solutions that can be deployed quickly when needs arise. We believe that Bergo Solid can serve an important purpose within defense, emergency preparedness, and temporary infrastructure projects. Almedalen provides us with an opportunity to meet the right stakeholders, listen to their needs, and demonstrate what our products can contribute,” says Emil Lindén.
Through its presence at Almedalen, Bergo Flooring wants to contribute to the discussion on how businesses, civil society organizations, and public sector stakeholders can work together to create better conditions for health, integration, preparedness, and sustainable living environments. The collaboration with RefugeeHope UA&SE is a concrete example of how companies and organizations can join forces to support people affected by the war in Ukraine.
