Bestoutcome strengthens board with appointment of non-executive director
London, UK, 22nd October 2013 – Bestoutcome, the specialist consultancy in complex change management for large organisations, is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Watmough as non-executive director. Steve will support the ongoing growth and success of the company as it looks to further enhance its flagship project portfolio management software PM3 and consultancy services.
Steve has a successful 30 year track record in the IT and Management Consulting field, most recently heading KPMG's CIO Advisory practice in the UK. This followed the acquisition by KPMG of Xantus, a leading IT Advisory firm. Steve was CEO of Xantus having co-founded the business in 2000.
“The delivery of large and complex programmes on time and within budget continues to present a significant challenge for organisations, but creates a tremendous opportunity for high-quality independent advisors in the programme delivery space,” says Steve. “PM3’s capability to deliver agreed business outcomes within a pragmatic risk-managed framework is unique and I am delighted to be joining Bestoutcome at a time of significant business growth.”
Bestoutcome focuses on change projects that deliver successful business outcomes. Its PM3 toolset encompasses change management, resource and capacity management, outcome-driven planning, project office support, risk mitigation and benefits realisation.
“Steve is a highly-experienced management consultant with an impressive track record of delivering exceptional results,” comments David Walton, managing director at Bestoutcome. “Steve’s exemplary background in the Consulting Industry makes him a great addition to our board as we seek to take the business forward. We are looking forward to benefiting from his guidance and expertise and I’m sure he will be a huge asset to the company.”
