London, UK, 5th December 2012 Bestoutcome, the specialist consultancy in complex change management for large organisations, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Pryor as principal consultant. Mike’s appointment strengthens the senior leadership team at a time of sustained growth for the company and he will be responsible for delivering best practice across the client base, managing strategic relationships and supporting continued development of Bestoutcome’s PM3 product lines and further expansion into new markets.

As a business change specialist, Mike has more than 25 years of consulting experience focused on programme and project management. He has worked at industry leaders including PwC and LBMS and has helped over thirty organisations implement pragmatic, sustainable improvements driven by technology, people and process change. Before joining Bestoutcome, he was an independent consultant working across a variety of different sectors including finance, retail, and utilities. His client experience takes in blue chip companies such as Alcatel, BAA, Boots, BP, M&S, Nationwide, Severn Trent Water, and the United Nations.

“Bestoutcome takes a unique approach to providing clients with the tools they need to bring their portfolio of projects under control and I’m looking forward to working across a diverse range of clients and helping to further grow the business and expand our network of strategic partners,” says Mike. “As well as supporting the on-going development of Bestoutcome’s PM3 solution, I will be establishing a User Group to ensure it continues to meet our clients’ needs and accommodate new ways of working.”

Commenting on the appointment, David Walton, managing director at Bestoutcome, adds: “I have worked with Mike on a number of projects over the years and have always been impressed by his creativity and commitment. He brings a strong background in consultancy and an in-depth knowledge in programme management, which are exactly the skills we are looking for to take the business forward. He will be a huge asset to the company.”

Bestoutcome recently announced that it has appointed JEMCO Associates as its strategic partner in Scotland, and continues to pursue further opportunities to expand its footprint and deliver on its commitment to ensuring that all customers realise the maximum benefit from implementing PM3. PM3 is Bestoutcome’s flagship project portfolio management toolset developed by practitioners for practitioners. It focuses on outcomes and change, planned back from the end goal, ensuring the team maintains focus on delivering the change rather than just carrying out a series of activities. PM3 encompasses change management, resource and capacity management, outcome-driven planning, project office support, risk mitigation and benefits realisation.
