Betolar Plc: Ilkka Iittiläinen appointed Head of Operations, Lasse Happonen will become Advisor
Ilkka Iittiläinen, M.Sc. (Tech), LL.M., MBA, has been appointed Head of Operations and a member of the Management Team. This position at Betolar is new. He will take up his position as of 30 March 2022, and will report to CEO Matti Löppönen.
Ilkka Iittiläinen has previously held demanding international procurement and logistics management positions. He worked for Neste Corporation from 2001 to 2020 in several positions such as Chief Procurement Officer and VP, Logistics & Operations, and thereafter in the construction industry as the Chief Procurement and Development Officer at DEN Group Oy.
“Managing global logistics chains and customer production support requires strong international expertise as Betolar's business expands. Ilkka has significant experience in managing procurement as well as supply chains and logistics for renewable and circular raw materials globally,” says Löppönen.

Lasse Happonen, Head of Precast and Ready-mixed concrete, will become Betolar's advisor
Lasse Happonen, responsible for the ready-mixed concrete and precast elements will become Betolar's advisor. Happonen will continue with partner customers in ongoing development projects aimed at enabling and increasing the use of low-carbon concrete on an industrial scale.
