Inside information: Tuija Kalpala appointed as Betolar’s CEO and President
The Board of Directors of Betolar Plc (“Betolar”, “Company”) has decided to appoint Tuija Kalpala, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, as Betolar’s new CEO and President to accelerate the Company’s commercial development. She will take up her position immediately. The Board of Directors of the Company and Riku Kytömäki, President and CEO, has jointly agreed that Kytömäki will leave his position as President and CEO of the Company. At the same time, Sales and Operations functions will be merged and Chief Commercial Officer, Ville Voipio will step down from the Management Team.
Tuija Kalpala has acted as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company since October 2023. Previously, she has held demanding international management positions in supply, logistics and strategic development with Neste Corporation from 2003 to 2023 in Finland, North America, and Germany. She also has experience in strategically significant commercial development projects.
