Jonas Siljeskär appointed new CEO of BEWiSynbra

BEWiSynbra Group, one of the leading integrated producers of expandable polystyrene (EPS) in Europe, announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Jonas Siljeskär as new CEO of the company effective from 1 January 2020.

Jonas succeeds Rik Dobbelaere, who has been the CEO of BEWiSynbra since 16 May 2018, following BEWi’s acquisition of Synbra in May 2018. Rik will be an advisor to the company going forward and the intention is to propose to the general meeting to elect Rik as a new member of the Board in BEWiSynbra. Notice to the extraordinary general meeting will be announced separately in due time before such extraordinary general meeting.

Jonas has been deputy CEO of BEWiSynbra since 17 June 2019, with full responsibility of all operational aspects of the company, and prior to this he was the COO and Managing Director of BEWiSynbra RAW.
