Biacore's Analysts' Conference Call - Clarification Uppsala, Sweden, July 23, 2001. At Biacore International AB's (Biacore) (SSE: BCOR; Nasdaq: BCOR) conference call today after the release of the Company's half-year report, Ulf Jönsson, in response to a question regarding the net margin, replied that, on a quarterly basis, the Company's net margin could fall below 10%. This answer seems to have been interpreted as referring to the full-year 2001. This interpretation is incorrect, as Biacore has a policy of not making profit forecasts.
