Marketing Cooperation between Biacore and Diffchamb Diffchamb gains exclusive marketing rights in the U.K. for Biacore's food analysis products Uppsala, Sweden, February 11, 2000. Biacore International AB (Nasdaq: BCOR, SSE: BCOR) and Diffchamb AB (listed on the SBI-list) today announced that the companies will enter into a collaboration, the first step of which is the signing of an agreement giving Diffchamb the exclusive rights to selling Biacore's products for food analysis in the United Kingdom. Initially, the agreement is valid for 15 months. Both Biacore and Diffchamb are engaged in major strategic development projects. The companies have therefore agreed to initiate the cooperation concerning Biacore's food analysis products with the marketing in the U.K. of Biacore's system and reagent kit for analysis of vitamin content in food products. Biacore will continue to develop food analysis products and the Company plans to introduce other reagent kits later this year, including kits for the detection of veterinary medicine residues in meat products. The new kits will also be included in the collaboration between Biacore and Diffchamb. The previously discussed directed new share issue of Diffchamb stock will for the moment not be carried out.
