Bibby Distribution is adding to its team of Divisional Directors with the appointment of Nick Graham, formerly Director of Transport UK and Ireland at Wincanton.

The position has been created to enhance Bibby Distribution’s platform for future growth, with initial responsibilities focusing on assisting customers in the automotive sectors.

Graham is a veteran of the 3PL industry with more than 25 years’ experience under his belt. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), and also sits on the National Council of the Freight Transport Association.

“Nick has a proven track record in leading efficient operations, managing acquisitions and supporting implementation programmes,” said Iain Speak, Chief Executive Officer, Bibby Distribution. “This experience is invaluable, and Nick’s skillset and industry knowledge certainly complement our business ambitions. I have no doubt he will be a powerful addition to an already strong team.”

Prior to Wincanton – where he was ultimately responsible for maximising fleet capacity and reducing transport operating costs – Graham held positions within Hays, Sericol, BOC Gases and Pittards.

Based at Bibby Distribution’s head offices in Duke Street, Liverpool, Graham will report directly into Chief Operating Officer, Paul Kavanagh.
