FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 3, 2015
Melbourne, Florida – Sonata Senior Living, a premier senior living and healthcare provider headquartered in Central Florida agreed to have one of its most progressive communities (Sonata at Melbourne) featured in a music video “I’ll take it from here,” produced by Silversphere, a national ecall technology company. Silverspshere’s Music Making initiative was created to bring forth the emotional side of aging parents and their adult children through original songwriting and compelling video imagery. Healthcare providers like Sonata are encouraged to become partner/sponsors of each music video engaging at the level they choose.
Sonata’s strong innovation married with its compassionate and progressive caregiving was the perfect complement for the project. Shelly Edson, Senior Vice President of Operations for Sonata Senior living said, ”We are proud to participate in such a meaningful project that reveals the unspoken side of taking care of love ones and residents.” Sonata at Melbourne, a purpose-built community is comprised of independent living, assisted living and award-winning memory care. Residents are empowered to retain their freedom while having access to exceptional wellness programming, social and artistic opportunities- all within a full continuum of care community.
Silversphere started the Music Making project as an extension of their passion for providing the most advanced technology to enrich the lives of seniors and keep them safe. The company has been perfecting its ecall technology since 1945. Singer, songwriter and marketing executive Kaleb Scharmahorn states, “It is important to us that these songs capture the honor and legacy due to seniors and the true feelings and emotions that effect those caring for them. It's our honor to write and record songs that encourage, inspire, and motivate all of the people that sacrifice so much everyday while caring for seniors."
Sonata Senior Living, founded in 2012 is an industry pioneer of purpose-built living and resident-directed care with four award-winning communities—Sonata at Melbourne (comprehensive senior living and memory care) as well as 3 stand alone memory care communities: Serenades at Longwood, Serenades at The Villages and Serenades West at Orange.
