Tapestry House Assisted Living Community Declared an Official Toys for Tots Drop Off Location

Alpharetta, GA – Tapestry House Assisted Living, a vibrant community that many older adults call home, has been active this holiday season by launching several holiday events and activities to bring added cheer to neighboring families. Recently, the community has joined the national organization Toys for Tots, becoming an official drop off location for any new and unwrapped toys. Tapestry House is located at 2725 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, Georgia, 30022.
New and unwrapped toys can be dropped off until December 10th. The Toys for Tots movement is designed to make sure less fortunate children do not go without toys on Christmas. Residents are encouraging family, friends and anyone else to donate. They love the concept because they too have grandchildren and feel this is a great cause in helping less fortunate families throughout the holidays.
“Our country is still going through some tough economic times so it is nice to help where we can,” said Molly Burke, Community Relations Director at Tapestry House. “We have received some positive feedback from not only residents but their families congratulating us for doing this. That makes us feel great.”
Tapestry House Assisted Living, owned by parent company Insignia Senior Living, is currently undergoing an expansion. The community will double in size, adding 62 new studio, one, and two bedroom apartments. The expansion will provide spacious rooms for more activities, with a large event area, independent work out room, and movie room.
