Bilot Oyj Press Release 19 May 2021 at 8.00 a.m. EEST
Bilot Sweden signs a major B2B commerce partnership with Swedish leading steel-producer SSAB, to meet strategic targets for increased digital sales.
SSAB invests heavily in digitalizing its sales processes. SSAB’s ambition with its multi-year Digital Commerce program is to improve customer service, simplify their customers’ life and increase sales. Achieving the goal requires development across a wide range of topics such as commercial product data, pricing, order capture and customer data management across business units and systems. Bilot delivers a platform based on modern microservices, headless front-end and SAP Commerce Cloud.
“Our journey together with SSAB has been exciting - the project started last year by building a roadmap, long-term architectural vision and evaluating technology stack options. We’re very happy that SSAB selected Bilot Sweden as their partner for Digital Commerce”, says Sara Roslund, Country Manager at Bilot Sweden.
Niko Korte, Director Digital Business Development at SSAB, says:”Bilot has had a strong role in increasing our digital capabilities and increasing our speed of change. Bilot’s team combines deep expertise in digital development and solid industry knowledge. Their experience from similar projects in other industrial businesses gained our trust.”
