MARKET MAKER AGREEMENT BETWEEN BIOHIT PLC. AND MERITA SECURITIES  LTD.
(Merita Pankkiiriliike Oy) CONCERNING THE B-SHARES OF BIOHIT PLC.


Biohit  Plc.  and  Merita Securities Ltd. have today signed  a  market
maker agreement concerning the B-shares of Biohit Plc.

According  to the market maker agreement, which will become  effective
on  Friday June 18, 1999, Merita Securities Ltd will continuously give
sales  and buy offers for the B-shares of Biohit Plc., which is  noted
on  the NM-list on the Helsinki Exchanges' HETI system on each day  of
trading during the trading period.

The market maker agreement is in Finnish only.
