NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE IN BIOHIT OYJ’S SHAREHOLDING (SECURITIES
ACT CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10)

Biohit Oyj has received notification (pursuant to Securities’ Act
Chapter 2, Section 10) about a change in the share capital of a
shareholder. Erja-Yhtymä Oy has sold its holdings of 900,000
Biohit Oyj A shares to Pentti Sipponen.

The company: Biohit Oyj (registration number: 409.279)

Date of change in holdings: 21 June 2006

Shareholder: Pentti Sipponen (domicile Espoo)
Holder of shares pertaining to the share capital of the
shareholder: Patolab Oy (registration number: 289.952, domicile
Espoo)

Proportion of voting rights and stock in Biohit Oyj after the
notification:

A shares          900,000         20.79              6.95
B shares           26,600          0.03              0.21

Distribution of holdings:

Pentti Sipponen: 900,000 A shares and 14,300 B shares
Patolab Oy: 12,300 B shares

Biohit Oyj’s share capital consists of 12 937 627 shares
(3,875,500 A shares and 9,062,127 B shares). Series A shares
confer twenty (20) votes and Series B shares confer one (1) vote.
In payment of dividends, however, a dividend of two (2) per cent
higher than the nominal value is paid for Series B shares than is
paid for Series A shares.
