BIOHIT'S  CALIBRATION PROCEDURE OF LIQUID HANDLING DEVICES  HAS  BEEN
ACCREDITED ON THE BASIS OF INTERNATIONAL CRITERIA

The calibration laboratory for liquid handling devices of Biohit Plc.
has been accredited as a result of the evaluation made by FINAS.

The   Finnish  Accreditation  Service,  FINAS,  within   its   parent
organization,  the  Center  for Metrology  and  Accreditation,  is  a
Finnish accreditation body operating under the Ministry of Trade  and
Industry.  FINAS  is  a  member  of  the  European  Cooperation   for
Accreditation (EA), and the activity of FINAS is recognized  in  each
member state belonging to the EA.

The  accreditation  of the calibration for liquid  handling  products
performed in the production plants in Helsinki and Kajaani reinforces
Biohit's  market  position  as  the leading  manufacturer  of  liquid
handling   devices.  There  exist  only  two  accredited  calibration
laboratories in the world of companies manufacturing liquid  handling
devices of which Biohit's laboratory is the best and most accurate.

As a result, Biohit Plc. is able to offer to its customers in Finland
and  abroad  calibration  certificates for liquid  handling  devices,
which  are based on national and international, traceable measurement
standards. The traceable calibration certificates form already now an
important  part  of  the  reliable  analysis  services  provided   by
laboratories. As a result of the accreditation, Biohit Plc.  is  able
to  fulfil the international traceability requirements set for liquid
handling devices.
