BIOHIT PLC.   STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE   16.6.1999   4:15 P.M.     1 (1)


The  Board  of Directors of Biohit Plc. decided on June  16,  1999  to
allocate  the  2.000.000 new B-shares as follows. The  Finnish  public
will  receive  1.250.000  shares  and the  Finnish  and  international
institutional investors 750.000 shares.

The  subscriptions of the parties having participated  in  the  public
issue  were accepted in full up to 500 shares. As to shares  exceeding
500  pieces,  approx. 17% of the subscriptions were accepted.  In  the
allocation the number of shares was rounded to the nearest ten.
