New President for BioPhausia The Board of Directors of BioPhausia AB (publ) has named Executive Vice President Erika Kjellberg Eriksson acting president of the company, effective as of February 1, 1999. Johannes Norrby, chairman of the Board of Directors, issued the following statement: "Stellan Lind, one of the founders of the company and up to now its president, has for a long time expressed a desire to resign that position to devote himself to other interests in the future. The Board of Directors has accepted this wish. Stellan Lind will continue to be a member of the Board. We have also jointly agreed that, during the period required, he will continue to be involved in important licensing negotiations. We look forward to the next Annual General Meeting when we will have an opportunity to thank Stellan Lind formally for his exceptionally important contributions to the company. Erika Kjellberg Eriksson knows BioPhausia well. She joined the company as financial manager in January 1997. Before that she was employed by Ernst & Young, one of the company's auditors. One of her first responsibilities, in association with Board members, will be to conclude agreements that will make possible the rapid commercial use of the company's principal products, ® RescueFlow and Krillase®." BioPhausia's preliminary report on 1998 operations will be released February 25, 1999.
