Proposed candidates for BioPhausia Board In consultation with the existing Board of Directors, a group consisting of Per-Johan Björnstedt, portfolio manager in Skandia AB, and Stellan Lind, President of BioPhausia through February 1, 1999, has prepared the following proposed list of Board candidates for presentation to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on April 26. The proposal is supported by Skandia, Förenade Liv and a number of the employees. Ulf Holmström, Vice President, Group Treasury, SEB, new election. Gösta Jonsson, President of Astra Arcus AB, new election. Bertil Larsson, Chairman of the Board of Canag AB and Canag Diagnostics, re- election. Torvard Laurent, Professor Emeritus, Uppsala University, re-election. Johannes Norrby, former Executive Vice president of Försäkringsbolaget Skandia, re-election. Johannes Norrby has been proposed as Chairman of the Board. In addition to the above, Uno Alfredéen, Chairman of the Board of Företagskapital AB, among other Board appointments, will be co-opted to the Board until further notice. The Annual General Meeting will also be asked to vote on a proposed Nominating Committee consisting of Stellan Lind, Per-Johan Björnstedt and a representative of the Swedish Association of Share Investors.
