Bioservo signs an agreement for the sales of Carbonhand® with Ergo Diffusion in France
Bioservo Technologies AB, together with Ergo Diffusion, has signed a distribution agreement for the sales of Carbonhand® in France. The agreement is part of the company's investment in strengthening the sales network within the Life Science area in Europe.
Since 2009, Ergo Diffusion has worked to provide French users with aids for increased independence. The grip-enhancing glove Carbonhand from Bioservo becomes a natural complement to their existing product portfolio, which today includes armrests, robotic arms and aids for eating and drinking.
The company has a well-established network of prescribers, rehabilitation clinics, hospitals and nursing homes, as well as good knowledge of the reimburcement system in France, which is a prerequisite for successfully selling Carbonhand on the French market. These clinics are reached through a network of around 20 local retailers around the country, with a turnover from 1 to 19 M€.
"France has a system for the prescription of assistive devices at regional and local level for people in need of assistive devices, for those returning to work after an accident or illness or those in need of rehabilitation. Through Ergo Diffusion's wide network of retailers as well as a well-established market position among rehabilitation clinics as well as other healthcare facilities, we see great opportunities for a successful introduction of Carbonhand in one of Europe's largest markets." says Petter Bäckgren, CEO at Bioservo
