Birdstep receives expansion order from The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
Birdstep’s SafeMove Mobile VPN has provided care workers with access to patient records and clinical data seamlessly from the field over multiple networks since 2012. The new deal will expand use of the Rotherham Trust’s Mobile VPN use in home care services by allowing care workers full access to the same applications and systems they would have on a desktop in the hospital. This deal will further increase productivity and allow The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust to maximize returns on its mobility investment.
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust deployed SafeMove Mobile VPN in 2012 and since then has expanded its use in home care services.
SafeMove and its benefits for community care - “A clinic and office in a bag” - will be presented at EHI Live event 5th-6th November 2013 in Birmingham, UK.
